This restaurant, located on the beautiful Opernplatz, is certainly one of the outstanding noble Italians in Frankfurt. The best quality and a nice selection of wines. But what is exciting is the careful and cordial team in the kitchen and service that the committed Mr. Amoroso has gathered around him. You come as a guest and leave as a friend!

If you need truffle pasta this is where you go. The service unfortunately wasn’t as friendly as other places (so no 5/5) but the food deserves the stars.

Unprofessional, not recommended and overpriced

Food was quickly at the table, even though the restaurant was fully booked. The noodles were extremely delicious. The restaurant is definitely in the upper price segment. The terrace directly on the Opera Square offers a particularly nice atmosphere.

Good ambience, sit relaxed at the table and enjoy the show at the old opera. Good cuisine but also sporty prices. Always worth a visit when the weather is nice.

Best Ratatouille Ravioli ever!???

Very rude and unprofessional service! We wanted to dine with 6 people. Two of our friends just wanted a drink. We were then informed that, luckily, it is Sunday and for this reason we only get one seat, as guests who just want a drink are not welcome. The portions were way too small and the food was average. The question of a hospitality receipt remained open ...

Impeccable service! Attentive, courteous and not intrusive. The food was delicious with a beautiful sight of the old opera. Absolute recommendation!

If I could, I'd best not give stars! The food was average versus prices. The waiters are very rude and behave differently towards everyone (superficially to get more tips). In my starter I found a black short hair and when I mentioned it, I got a very unfriendly answer: our cooks are all bald. I have never found hair in my food in an average restaurant and of course for 30-35 euros per serving, the expectation is higher. I asked about salt and as a young lady I was given sea salt crystals that are only used for cooking and not in finished dishes that you cannot eat at all! Next to us sat a couple who got normal table salt, which surprised me For this reason, I don't recommend anyone to go there .. in the end you just get pulled away!

Very expensive and unprofessional handling of guests. Food can get even with a mediocre Italian, so special and expensive would be bodily harm. Who has too much money to throw away is right with AMOROSO ................ Better to go out to eat for 1 €, tastes 1000 times better. NEVER AGAIN

It's just fun here. Nice atmosphere on the Opera Square. And very, very good service.

As a traveler, I carefully avoid, according to unwritten rules, Italian restaurants abroad. But after a week of meat, enchanted by the Frankfurt Opera Square, I couldn't resist the temptation. I dined at a single table, greeted by a nice Calabrian compatriot. The service was a little slow (the place was full) but it was worth it: I pleasantly watched the city and the sunset. I ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio, excellent tagliolini with truffle, water and tiramisu. Prices slightly above the average for Germany but it was worth it. Try it if you want Italian cuisine.

Nice "to be seen location". Professional service. One of the dishes done very nicely. Food presentation good. But the Spaghetti alla Vongole came swimming in oil ... whoever cooked that needs to go back to school. Disappointing for such a very basic and classic dish.

Exquisite italian mediterranean cuisine! I fall in love with this place - magnificient Seeting! Warm welcome with excellent and professionell service. The food is a fusion between italian and modern cusine, very high fresh quality, excellent taste and very well prepared. Definitely you have to visit.& taste- It is like having a break in Italy.

This restaurant is one of the best, which I have visited in Frankfurt. You can find very tasty ceasar salad, soup or tuna, which is wow. Very nice service + great location in the centre of the city. What is a pity of this restaurant is, that you cannot get a pizza here:)

oh lord... I'm vegetarian, and the spaghetti with black truffle was to die for... the recommendation on wine from the barman was just spot on and the service exquisite. Highly recommended this place for an amazing meal

Italian restaurant at the Opernplatz, with view towards the old opera building. The service is very (Italian) friendly. But prices for house wines by the glass are steep (12 Euro) food is fancy and expensive. - a typical place for people who want to be seen -

Great view of the square. Excellent food. They had chanterelle mushrooms on the menu and the portions were very large. The Truffle pasta was great as well.

Staff was actually rather friendly, but honestly: If they don't serve 2cl whisky, then don't serve it and rudely asked the customer if they've read the menu and then demand the price for a 4cl whisky. No need such rude and snarky remark. That was uncalled for and erased every single good thing that happened before that...

Service is first fast. Food is very Bad! Allready eat whaiting Service is very slow(25min). Customer Service very Bad. Take next restaurant. Never coming this place.
